The year 2008 will mark the 144th Turriff Show. It is the biggest annual event to take place in Turriff and attracts more than 40,000 visitors from a wide geographical area including overseas.

Turriff Show is probably the largest two-day agricultural Show in Scotland and is a venue not to be missed for top livestock producers and horse and pony exhibitors. The National Aberdeen Angus Cattle Show and a special Charollais Sheep Show have been rescheduled to take place at Turriff Show this year. In addition there are over 250 trade stands, including a renowned Food Fayre, indoor Shopping Marquee, an area specifically designated to the Forestry Industry and a Lifestyle Marquee with stands promoting a healthy lifestyle in addition to quality craft stands.

There are competitive sections for horticulture, home based crafts, open and companion dog shows.

Each day has an extensive ringside entertainment programme with many special attractions.
