Trade Stands

trade standThere are over 220 well presented outdoor trade stands at Turriff Show. Agricultural trade stands include machinery stands featuring tractors and machinery from all the leading manufacturers. There are also a large number of stands from the agricultural service and supply industry in addition to forestry and countryside related, construction and vehicle stands. The number of renewable energy stands is growing reflecting the interest from the agricultural sector. Other stands include fashion and clothing, horticulture and garden equipment, arts, crafts and toys.

Food Fayre

This year’s Food Fayre has a wide variety of quality stands promoting the very best of predominantly Scottish food and drink. Take the opportunity to sample such traditional delights as oak smoked Scottish fish and game, haggis, award winning cheese, jams and chutneys, speciality cakes and bakery products, hand made fudge and tablet, luxury ice cream, a selection of wine and the finest Glen Dronach malt whisky. Or perhaps you might be temped to try a sample of fruit flavoured vodka, a green cuisine dip or one of the delicious garlicky goodies! All food and drink can be purchased.

Exhibition Hall

The Exhibition Hall was constructed and officially opened last year by the Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP. Funding for the building was bolstered with the assistance of a LEADER grant through the Aberdeenshire Council LEADER Programme. The Hall will have a ‘lifestyle’ theme and there will be stands promoting health and nutrition offering free health and body checks. NHS Grampian will be highlighting healthy living whilst Aberdeenshire Council’s School Meals Service will promote healthy eating and the changing face of school meals. Other stands will be there to help promote marketing and business development, photography and lifestyle products.

Indoor Shopping Mall

This very popular marquee has a selection of stands offering a range of quality goods. Browse through a range of boutiques selling such items as ladies designer clothing, shoes, boots and handbags, traditional children’s clothes handmade in Scotland, tweed hats, feather hats, ladies designer jewellery, gifts and accessories. On the art front Angela Davidson Art will have original art and prints and Fintray Fine Framing stunning Scottish photography for sale. Other stands include kitchen planning and manufacture and goods for country pursuits.

Craft Fair

We have a new, larger art and crafts marquee this year devoted to hand made crafts offering a wide variety of quality products. Visitors can expect to find horncraft, glassware, wood turnery and woodcraft, embroidery items, handmade soaps and beauty products, original paintings, prints and picture mouldings, hand crafted greetings cards, handmade kilts and Highland dress accessories. A selection of jewellery stands will have items made from gold, silver, amber, freshwater pearls, gems, semi precious stones, wood and beads. In addition many of the crafters will demonstrate their techniques throughout the day.
