Turriff Show is not just for farmers and the organisers want to accommodate every member of the public that walks through the gates, whether their interests lie with cattle, food and drink or they are just coming along for a fun-filled family day out.

Last year the show gave the public a chance to have their say with what they wanted to see at the event in future years via our online survey, and as a result,  the new EQ Food & Drink Pavillion was introduced at 2019’s event.

For the second year, a post-show survey was run to find out what visitors thought about the new EQ Food & Drink Pavillion, as well as what other areas of the show they enjoyed and what they would like to see more of, or done differently in future years.

The 2019 survey closed on August 31st, with over 700 respondents. A summary of the results will be displayed in due course.

Well done to the following individuals that completed the survey and were chosen at random as the winners of the following prizes;

  • Jim Prentice won a one night stay for two people in the stunning Netherdale House, with a full cooked breakfast, included. This beautiful Georgian mansion is located in a quiet untouched part of North East Scotland with commanding views over the river Deveron.
  • Steve Watt won the men’s Schoffel Oakham gilet kindly donated by Norvite Farm & Country
  • Susan Michie was the lucky lady who won the Hicks & Brown hat and Dubarry purse, kindly donated by Norvite Farm & Country
